Since 1924, Chasseur's®Invicta factory (foundry and enameling
 kiln) in the village of Donchery in the Champagne-Ardenne
region of northern France has been making some of the finest 
enameled cast-iron cookware produced anywhere in the world. 
While alchemists elsewhere were trying to concoct the 'elixir 
of life', the "alchemists" at Invicta were busy spinning 
gold with their near-indestructible enameled cast-iron cookware
